At first, I thought that notepad was just a fathetic version of microsoft word but becuse of the new knowlegde that i have, i already know how to use the notepad properly. I also learned how to use tag attributes. It is very fun to use attributes in the notepad. This grading is full of surprises and i hope to have more next grading period.

We have different language in our country, but are national laguage is Filipino. We always use Filipino in communicating with are fellow Filipino. Filipino is very important for us Filipino citizens.
Staying in different countries, Filipino language is not used to communicate with people. We always use the so called universal languaqge, English. And maybe after a couple of years, our country will have progress. English means alot.

Modern Heroes

History states that heroes are born when a person starts to think of being free from the people colonizing the country. Heroes in the earlier times are being called as heroes if they have done something to achieve freedom by organizing wars or through knowledge. Examples of these heroes are Andres Bonifacio and Dr. Jose Rizal.
Now in modern times, other sets of heroes are being called. These heroes are different but slightly alike from the passed heroes. They are different because these modern heroes’ aim is to help and served the nation but their aims are both for the wellness of their fellow countrymen. These heroes are particularly the professionals like doctors, nurses, engineers, carpenters, and other persons that makes the community more meaningful to live.
Let us give importance to education To become a hero in the future.

Tatag ng Wikang Filipino , Lakas ng Pagka-Pilipino

A lot of years passed after our ex-president Manuel L. Quezon declared our national language, Filipino. This language served as the key of the early Filipinos to stop violence and bad doings that ruled in our country.
We all know that at first, the colonizers didn’t know anything about that slowly forming groups of Filipinos who’s aim is to achieve freedom. The Filipino language was the instrument of the Filipinos from different parts of the country in communicating. Because of a good communication given by the national language, we got our freedom from the colonizers. The Filipino language stayed strong and started to let bravery conquer our hearts for us to achieve freedom.
It may not be directly stated but even if we look it in different angles, the Filipino language served as the start of something new, becoming a free country.

First Grading Period

At the start of the school year 2012-2013, a big challenge for  me has started. I belong to the 4th year Special Mathematics Class of Ilocos Sur National High School. I need to pass 10 subjects such as Mathematics A and B, Science, English, Filipino, Mapeh, Araling Panlipunan, Values Education, Information Communication Technology, and Research.
In my I.C.T. class this first grading period, I have learned many things about computers and internet. I got hard up in memorizing the history of the internet and in creating blogs. I managed to memorize them and post blogs with the help of my subject teacher and classmates.
Moving on, I will do my best to improve myself this second grading period. Enhance myself in the field of memorizing. Hopefully after graduation, I would be a better individual.

SONA of the President

Last July 23, 2012, President Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III gave his speech during his 3rd State Of The Nation Address. That day was the said day that he will fulfill his promises. He wanted to lead the Philippines in the right and straight path.
Mr. President had said that he had launched another program which is the “Pantawid Pamilya Program.” He had also mentioned that we will be exporting rice. Starting this 3rd year of him being the president we will no longer import rice in country. He had also given the Department of Education the highest fund, 238.8 billion.
If he would be continuing this kind of leadership, maybe after 3 years, Philippines will be a more progressive country.

Nutrition Month Celebration

Every month of July, we always celebrate the nutrition month. Here in Ilocos Sur National High School. We celebrated the nutrition month with this years’ theme “Pagkain ng gulay ay ugaliin, Araw-araw itong ihain.”
My insights about this years’ theme for the nutrition month is quite good. Eating vegetables is good for our health. It provides the nutrients we need to do different activities in our everyday lives. We can also eat fruits to make ourselves strong. Fruits and vegetables should be take in daily and regularly. We can obtain proper nutrition if we always eat vegetables that are rich in all kinds of nutrients.
We have this called nutrition month for us not to forget that eating vegetable is important. This serves as a remembrance month for good nutrition.

My Letter To The President

                                                                         Ilocos Sur National High School
Gomez St. Brgy. VII, Vigan City
                                                                                         June 30, 2012,

Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino
President
MalacaƱang Palace

Dear Mr. President,
First of all I would like to take this opportunity to greet you a good day sir. I wrote this letter to express my feelings and thoughts about the projects of the present administration. You have launched the No Wangwang Policy, Anti Human Trafficking project and the k+12 program. Sir, I’m very please of your concern for the discrimination taking place in our society. You are not even an exemption to this policy and that I think is a very pleasing act of a president for us Filipinos.
The Anti Human Trafficking is also a fantastic project. Because of these projects, the fear of many Filipinos from people doing human trafficking might have decrease. Filipinos might find again the courage to be alone because they know that they are protected by the government.
This project is what I didn’t like most, the k+12 program. Many Filipinos have problems to be solved and this project have made them more problematic. Most students that are studying belong to a poor family. Adding 2 more years in studying is another financial problem. Sir, you should have solved first the problem that conquer most, poverty. This is why we don’t like the k+12 program because poverty still exist. This is the main reason why we are not comfortable of this program.
As a whole, you are doing good sir. There are still many years for you to improve more. Thank you sir and God bless.
